Can tools be used as weapons to defend your home?

I know you can use the shovel and crowbar as weapons while scavenging, but can they be used as weapons when you get raided?

Yep!

Shovel I know can be used as one and I think crowbar too.

Shovel isn't the best but if that's all you got then that's all you got.

Yes. An axe is a good investment. Good weapon and can be used to recover wood and fuel.

Generally you want to make sure every person that stays has some weapon. (shovel, crowbar, axe, knife, gun)

There are 4 attack types: low, moderate, high, extreme.

I never took damage if:
1) Full security
2) 1 guard
3) Everyone had a gun

if you don't have 2 guns, you should probably have 2 guards during crime outbreak.

Even though one person is on watch. Anyone else there can help with the guy or girl on watch and be armed to defend the house
