How to start "The Little Ones" DLC ?

I just bought the game with complete DLCs, main screen divided to "FINAL CUT" and "Stories Mode", stories mode have 3 stories.. but i can't find the little ones, how do i choose the little ones?

And also, when i'm in final cut menu, there are 2 options : anniversary and final cut, which one has more complete things?

Final cut has more, little ones just mean that there are chances of kids coming towards you wanting to live with you and I think your able to play a set of people with a kid or two with your fellow survivors.

Final cut is the newest while anniversary is kinda like the old version in a way.

so choose 3 characters and tick on final cut? does anniversary things included in it?
and for the little ones, i just play like normal?

Selecting the option at start FORCES the content, if you select final cut, locations will be the same everytime you play.

I suggest let the game randomly add them if this is your first time playing. Which is do not check the checkbox at start.

The way it works is the game randomly selects map packs at the start of every game you won't be able to visit every location on a run unless you create a custom game, checking the checkbox FORCES the content which are new locations. It's useful for old players who played the vanilla base game and want to see the added content right away.

I don't understand the Little Ones DLC either. I can't select the DLC anywhere. In my 90 hours of playtime, I haven't encountered a single child, except for two at the front door asking for medicine and food for their mother... Where can you select the children, or do they come to the front door on a specific day?

You don't select The Little Ones anywhere. What it is is that they added new scenarios to start a game with and some include children. Regarding the "checkbox", when you start the game where you chose which scenario you want (which group of people), at the bottom left you can select Final Cut or Anniversary Edition. They have different maps with different locations.

I've played Final Cut many times, and right now I'm on day 35 and the war is almost over, but no child has come to my door and the locations are the same as always...

Omg, I can now select children. Having just survived the war on day 42, I can now try again. When I clicked on it, a completely different selection screen suddenly appeared, with children. I had probably never survived the war before. Very strange.

What do you mean completely different selection screen? Like main menu screen?

The screen where you choose the survivors you want to start the game with. I've never had children there before.
