No new locations after update

I've restarted a few times because I didn't get any new locations, and everytime it says searching for some girl at every location. tried to do a longer run but at day nine now I've compleatly emptied the three starting scavenging sites and still no new ones, pretty hard to get anywhere without sources for stuffs, Franko only brings so much... :/ anyone else have this problem?

got fighting at locations so I can't even visit them, but at day 12 still no new locations, :/ not gonna keep on starving my people to death, this is just silly.

I think new locations are for the dlc story only ?

did you bought the Story-DLC "A Father`s Promise"`? If not, there are no new Locations, although I expierenced new Text in my own Game (haven`t bought the new DLC) that doesnt make any sense, since the Text is from the DLC :D .

No I didn't mean new as in new DLC locations, I mean new as in new to visit ones, you used to get more locations to visit every few days until you had a dozen or so different ones, I only get the ones you have on day one.

I had brotehr's house, (utterly useless), airport (minor version with just plane and military outpost) and the ruined flats, with the pram at the bottom floor. and at day 12 those were still the only ones I could see.

Did you start a new game or are you playing from a previous save?

I started new games, tried several times, this last time seemed to work though

Just checked, the new map pack from Father's Promise can be chosen at the start as if it was a normal map pack, it's a bug :-/ If you see the Brother's House on the first night, you should restart.

Maybe it depends on the characters you start with. I started a new game with Christo and Iskra and I haven't encountered the problem

No it's random, you have 1/7 chance to get the Father's Promise map (Brother's House, Ruined Block and Airport) even if you don't have the dlc. It shouldn't be possible and will probably be fixed soon.

You need to follow the "clues" to unlock locations.
When you get the next lead a new location will open up.

EDIT (not complaint, just information)
I unselected the new dlc, verified local files, restarted steam, restarted game, quit for it to sync and verified files again, restarted again -

DLC is now locked but the problem remanes unchanged. brothers house, airport and abandoned flats only are available as said above
