Also it is a bad thing to end day.
Make sure you finish sleeping if there is work to do in the shelter to get "all hands on deck".
In general, if not interrupted or delayed the scavenger runs straight to bed at 6am, and will in general sleep until no later then 1pm, the various characters do actually sleep less or more, arica is genrally up by noon, Marko and Pavle slightly before, Katia in genral around 12 30.
so the times varies, this actually leaves some time left of the day, enough to start more water, you can actually produce water twice each day if timed well. Same goes with any build, even eating as well as getting patched up and bandaged, this due to the night in bed heals you, the day helps but heals you much slower.
So in general unless you really have NOTHING what so ever to do, don't click end day, it is especially important for mood, allowing the characters to sit down have a smoke or a cup of coffe or simply s little rest without actually taking this time in interrupted build, where the character stops and walks to sit down.
Back to topic though, and times of visitors, in general I use the AM=Visitor PM=No Visitor but the times I have noticed is between 8 and 11, usually around 9-10
@bokvarv
Haha my characters are always content and well rested.
Here's a tip: If you send them to sleep, then click end day, they WILL finish sleeping if there are enough hours left in the day.
For instance I finished my chores around 2 pm, and send a tired survivor to sleep, immediately click end day when I see them get into bed... and they're rested by the night. You don't need to babysit them while they sleep.
They also finish activities or crafting by clicking end day.
Most of the time I'm doing the end day late in the game, when I've sorta gotten most things I needed and am just trying to reach the end of the playthrough.
I play like you. :D I am doing every scenario and making sure everyone is helped, no one steals, no one kills anyone but the outright criminals, and everyone gets their happy life ending. It seems to be random whether the "We ignored the visitor" event appears in the Epilogue. I find it quite annoying as I feel compelled to redo the scenario if that happens, as it doesn't feel 'perfect'. I end the day only once it's past noon, as visitors have only ever turned up in the morning.
