No end game crisis
It's 2442, no end game crises have spawned yet.
I recently got a new computer which has allowed me to reach this far in the game, I never used to be able to run Stellaris past about the mid 2300's and this was to be my first experience of them so I don't know much about their properties personally.

All the reading I've done about them suggests it would be extremely unlikely for a crisis not to have spawned. I have crisis turned on and have acquired technology which should trigger their spawn.

Does this seem like a bug?

What year did you set the endgame to start?

They happen on a MTTH (mean time to happen), such that the game rolls each crisis at 5 to 10 year intervals. The Preythorn’s probability increases with time, the unbidden increases with each empire that has jump and psi jump drive. The contingency is dependant on the number of machines and robots in the galaxy.

Eventually the game will roll a crisis and trigger it, 2450 is not that bad, it’s about on par with crisises I’ve had.

Oh ok thanks. I just passed 2450.

If it hasn't come by 2500 then I would be confused.
I set endgame at 2245

I remember someone saying they didn't have crisis till a very high year number (just unlucky (lucky?)) :-P

At the standard 2400 for endgame, crisis starts rolling at 2450. There is also a 20% chance of not getting any crisis at all.

I set my end game around 2300 usually. After that its just how much the RND added to said date. You can, get a mod or something that also increases its chances and adds in multiple triggers, or there used to be one.

That tripples your chance of something triggering. Of course you can get pretty devestated when two of them trigger in your territory and you are not even fit to fight one on your own ;)

Well with me, the end game crisis is long gone and I'm at 3437 - still need to conquer 2 more empire.

Wow, if I ran a game that long my late game fps would be down to 1-5 and totally unplayable. I usually don't go past 2450.

Well, you're actually killing the main reason of late game fps drops at this point. When most AI empires are gone, then there won't be that much anymore which needs to be calculated.

Not true, when the AI empire is gone, you own those systems unless you do not create sectors and allow the AI to manage those sectors, and instead do nothing with them.
