Also the reason the Big plant suggestion was pinned from an update when they added new plants, So i can't say we would pin these suggestions everytime or how long they will stay pinned. But i see no reason to pin a food suggestion one for some time :)
Aye Aye - I edited the OT - hopefully not too complicated. I just thought if players would post their suggestions in more detail it might be easier for devs to actually implement some things in the future ^^
1. We need different types of grains, right now all we have is wheat. How about Oats and Corn, or even Bran flakes. We also need sugar for sweets recipes.
2. From Oats we could make Oatmeal for breakfast, it would require oats and water.
Also from Oats, we could make Oatmeal cookies, which would require oats and water and Sugar or raisins.
3. From Bran we could make Bran muffins, which would require Bran flakes, molasses and Raisins.
4. That brings me to another crop we need : Grape vines. Drying grapes in the forge would produce Raisins. Raisins could be eaten by themselves or used in above recipes.
5. Oat seeds and Bran seeds could be obtained from wild flowers or weeds. Grape seeds could be obtained from Bushes or from chests.
6. Once we have cookies added to the cooking list, there are lots of different types we all enjoy. Sugar cookies made from Wheat, Sugar, and Water. Gingerbread cookies made from Bran Flakes, Molasses and sugar.
We could also really need some more fruits and veggies - I would suggest pumpkins, eggplants and some kind of apple thing that would be harvested from the trees. They don't need to closely resemble the real plants of course
It would be awesome if we could craft drinks! they would be so cute as a decorations! they can have similar effects as potions but have a form a mug with tea or cup of coffee or glass of juice
There are perfumes for some mobs that do exactly this. Not for corrupted ones though, The perfumes are often found in higher tear treasure chests and sometimes they drop from silver or gold keepas. I think taming is easy enough as soon as you have the Rancher badge unlocked. Even the corrupted creatures ain't that much of an issue anymore given that you have suitable armor and corruption resistance.
Also folks: Please mind the rules. Rather make a second post or a third but don't bunch up all your ideas in one post... it's just confusing.
- Carrots: Randomly spawning in Grassland, Woodland and Forest (just like lettuce and turnips). Seeds can be obtained by putting carrots into a processor or could randomly found in treasure chests that spawn in the respective biomes where the "wild" carrots could also be found.
- Onions: Randomly spawning in Grassland or Savannah. Seeds are obtained using a processor or found randomly in treasure chest spawning in the mentioned biomes.
Ingredient that could be added:
- Honey: Honey should either be obtained by mining beeswax patches in trees. Just like getting a queen bee once in a while, honey combs could drop with a higher chance. Or the currently ambient-only bees could be actual passive animals that have a hive and harvesting the hive makes them agressive. The hive put into a processor would give 5 honey combs which then can be used in cooking recipes. The bees could be tameable and instead of feeding them to harvest they would produce hives you would then harvest without them getting angry.

- Types of possible Ingredients to go into the different slots: honey
- Food item name: Honey Drops

1. Milk
Could be exclusively obtained by harvesting pet rambeaus or Playful will need to introduce some sort of cow-like Mob spawning either in grasslands or savannahs.
2. Beef
With a new cow-like mob not only milk could be added to our ingredient list but also beef could be obtained by them.
3. Berries
Berries would add a nice fruity option for the ingredient palette. To have different berries in each biome you could have:
- Strawberries and Raspberries in the Grasslands
- Blackberries and Blueberries in the Forest
- Mulberries and Elderberries for the Swamplands
- Currants (black or red) and Gooseberries would spawn in Savannahs even though it's a tad far from reality as they wouldn't really grow there I guess. But it's a game afterall ;-)
- Seaberries would spawn on sandblocks close to water or mineral water, so basically on beaches, in oases, in scarcely canyons wherever there happens to be sand close to water
- Snowberries and Iceberries could be introduced as fictious forms of berries to spawn in snowy and icy biomes
- There could even be Lavaberries and Corruption Berries.
Berries would a whole bunch of variety and options for new recipes and even new cooking options. Of course Berries would spawn on respective bushes. Or a berry bush in general could be intruduced that changes it's loot table according to the biome it spawns in. Berry bushes should follow the same spawn pattern like wild tunips, lettuce and so on.
They should be farmable as well but not on tilled soil but rather on blocks that are suitable. So berries from cold regions for example should only be planted on Snow, Ice or snow capped blocks.
