so far flowers will only show up randomly on their specific trees. thats the only way of getting more in a sense of farming.

but now for the good news: you can get more flowers by placing and recllaiming them. sometimes youll get 2 instead of 1 for a single block

You CAN grow flowers if you place a lot of leaves together, but only for Ashenwood, Elderwood, Cragwood and Wildwood (also Dark Leaves).
The problem is that these flowers take a very long time to grow one after another. It's the same for the flowers that will grow on trees over time - you might have to play for days until you can finally see new flowers spawning.

Unfortunately the tip that Hoki gave you - place flowers on the ground and take them up, again and again while you occasionally get one extra - will provide you with many more flowers in a shorter period of time :(

Thx, placing and recllaiming worked fine

Thx, I make this with leaves and in 2 RL days i got 1 flower, now i know this is not for wrong place or anything, placing and recllaiming is the best way i think.

I've been successful with farming cactus flowers. Just build a cactus 3 blocks high and usually i can harvest one off the top per day cycle in the game. I have 3 of them and at least two of them will give me a flower each time. Not really that fast of farming i suppose but about as fast as growing crops in a way. I think there are a few recipes that use this flower too that don't let you sub the flower type so it's been handy if i don't need them too often but every once in a while.

Graaaah! I know this game isn't complete, but these trees are killing me! Thanks for the tip about placing and reclaiming, that may be the best method until the developers fix the tree farming issues. That way I can at least have enough potions to survive.

as long as there are 5 blocks of cactus in a chunk they should grow some flowers. thats what ive been told once and its working so far

True, cactus-flowers are the fastest to be farmed :) Still placing and taking up blocks of flowers will give you extra-flowers even faster...

The flowers that seem to be abundant are the tundra flowers and wildflowers that grow on the ground.

Find a tundra/savannah and you will never farm flowers from trees again (only for color pigments if you need). In 2mn in a tundra, you have 50 flowers.

There is another trick for trees, put a block a water in a hole and plant a sapling next to it (you find them time to time in leaves), the next day, you'll have a tree with woods, leaves (more saplings) and flowers.

keep your knowledge flowing dude do you have any training videos?

No, I don't do videos ^^ The tree planting thing is the same as planting seeds for the farm, I tried and was surprised to see a big tree popping the next IRL day. It's not really worth it if you just want flowers for potions (a tree has only 2 or 3 and you can't tnt/speedharvest a tree), it's easier to look for a tundra or savannah biome and farm them for 30mn, you'll have enough flowers to craft hundreds of potions.

CLimb up on a tree, jump around the forrest I come back with stacks of wax, queen bees and stacks of red/yellows flowers, once you get a stockpile you wont need a farm.

do flowers grow back to the environment that they are picked from? And I mean flowers that grow on the ground, like savannah or tundra? Because it seems they don't. In my world we have been collecting florwes from both biomes and now they are empty of flowers :(. Will we run out of them completely in some time or do they also multiply when placing and picking again?
