I did read the title. In fact have you read the rest of this post? He's basically asking how do they justify charging 50$ when online is missing? And it's pretty clear that he doesn't wanna buy it at this price anymore, actually, it's more than just a question, it's also a satment that he thinks the price is not okay.
Which you've defended in the last part of your post by saying the online is mostly broken on consoles anyways and local co op is just as good. Implying it's still still okay for them to think 50$ is a fair price since local MP does the job.
You just spilled out your excuses/justification/explanation trying to make it sound like that there is a logical explaination behind their decision, other than Koei just being a lazy, incompetent greedy company trying to make quick cash off this game. But no, it had all to do with them being unexperienced, them having a hard time with steam and then local co op being just as much fun, so that's why they thought it was okay to want 50$ for it :)
Steam £40.
I can get this on PS4 new for £32 (Physical copy).
Koei completely sucks at
Porting games to PC
Taking advantage of the internet
Supporting their products.
Nevertheless, what's the point in assuming the developer's intention is pointless other then creating exhausting anger all around? Or are you trying to create a common enemy? Suppose that we all agree that Koei is the greedy devils, what are you going to do about it? Because if this is getting somewhere, I'm all on board.
I could actually get the Steam version for about £15.
Ditto, exactly the same happened to me, we were like, is it out yet? is out yet? And then, BAM!, no online coop! What a downer!
+1
I'd say pricing was definitely the issue with Yaiba. I refused to buy it because it was so overpriced. £49.99? Were they high? >_>
It cost £39.99 on consoles day 1. (with many retailers selling as low as £33) Why the PC version was 50% more expensive than you could buy on console, I have no idea, but console games don't cost £50 here and PC games definitely do not cost that much.
I'm indifferent on this price though. For Europe, day 1 prices on big releases like this are usually bad. Typically more expensive than console game releases. However you can easily buy registration codes elsewhere that are cheaper (from legitimate retailers too, not those shady sites)
I'm considering buying this even though I have it on PS4 already lol. Can get for £25 (it's priced at £39.99 on steam) which is a fair price for how much content the game offers imo.
Did you enjoy the yellow turban rebellion for the 999999th time?
Quite simple actually, I am not buying this game at full price.
