Absolute cinema lmao. 200 player battles and I had zero performance issues. No lag and good frame rates maxing everything in 4k. The gunplay isn't the best by any means but it is certainly not terrible. You can play in 1st person or 3rd person. It seems like it was designed with 3rd person in mind as you sometimes hit invisible walls in first person. The community is amazing. There is a ton of teamwork but it never takes itself seriously. I am a Hell Let Loose player and while I enjoy the seriousness of HLL, this was a nice change of pace. The maps are on the smaller side so the 200 player mayhem is truly felt the entire time. The way you can build and change the map is like nothing I have ever seen before. Explosions alter the map, not in a scripted manner like Battlefield or Red Faction, it truly feels realistic. You dig trenches and build obstacles that change the way the map is played. That open field you have to cross can be eliminated by just digging a trench to where you need to go. The ragdoll physics are awesome, bodies just go flying. Guns feel powerful at close range, but get weaker at long range and bullet drop becomes a big factor. This leads to a lot brutal, chaotic close range battles.

The community is the best part. I played 2 matches as the British and everybody was using their British accents and calling each other chap and lad lmao. There is also a localized voice chat which extends to the enemy team. There was an enemy tank that over ran one of our positions and someone on my team was like "haha I'm too close you can't shoot me, you can't shoot me" and the enemy tank replies "I am running over all of your friends" lmao. The Roleplay gets serious too. Enemies will surrender with their hands up and ask you not to shoot them in the voip chat. There are bag players that play tunes on the battlefield, I also heard a piano so I went to investigate, there was a church and inside one of my teammates was playing some bangers on the piano. Before I knew it we were fighting over the church. "This is a british church lad, kick those heathens out."

I had an absolute blast. I was laughing from the community while being in AWE of how chaotic the actual game is at the same time. I got this game for $15 and that is an absolute steal. highly recommended.

Can't believe we had to wait this long for a game based on the critically acclaimed book/movie Holes. I don't know why people are shooting at me, but I'm going to find that Yelnats family treasure any day now.
