Larmkanalinstall and phosgene are modules used by the virtual drivers install infrastructure, which was developed for FaceRig by a third party specialized in writing virtual device drivers called Adoriasoft. (They have created the latest virtual audio drivers and virtual webcam driver). They sign their executables and have a good reputation.

As you remember, before working with a specialist in this area we were using a DirectShow filter based implementation for the virtual webcam which had compatibility issues with several browsers and programs. The new version works quite better across the board (we have yet to find an incompatible app).
As of why are they have chosen name those modules like this, we have no idea, but we can inquire with them if you wish ( our 2 cents: probably just a programmer thinking it sounded cool, without looking into it too much and realizing the implications ).
You can uninstall the virtual webcam and the virtual audio drivers and delete these files, but the FaceRig broadcasting capability will then be disabled (you will still be able to stream if you use OBS with Window capture though).
there's literally nothing in it or in its description, properties, etc, that indicates it's part of the audio driver.
I have to go into process hacker to find the driver info.

This third party developer they mentioned - is FaceRig paying them?
This device driver is 6 years old. It probably needs updating.
