PSA: Brigador Steam Deck Compatibility
If you are playing Brigador: Up-Armored Edition on the Steam Deck, chances are you may have experienced issues with navigating the menus in-game, similar to something like “stick drift”. To stop this from happening you will need to manually set the deadzones in the OS controller profile for the game.

To quote the Steam Deck - Basic Use & Troubleshooting Guide:

To change your controls for an individual game, go to game details by highlighting a game in your Library and pressing the A button. Open the control settings by selecting the gamepad icon. Here, you can view and edit your current layout. You can also browse and apply configurations that have been shared by the community by selecting the current template and navigating to Community Layouts with R1.

Please note that Steam has four compatibility ratings for games on Steam Deck which are:
  • Verified - Game passes all compatibility checks. No configuration work is required for users to access all game functionality.
  • Playable - Game game functions on Deck, but may require manual work from the user. (Examples: manually selecting a community controller config, requiring the user to manually bring up the on-screen keyboard, or requiring the user to use the touchscreen to navigate a launcher).
  • Unsupported - Game does not function on Deck due to incompatibility with Proton or specific hardware components.
  • Unknown – Game has not completed the compatibility review process. Information about how the game will play on Deck is unavailable.
Brigador is marked as Playable on Steam Deck since it passed Steam’s automated internal testing. We recommend that you play the game on desktop with mouse and keyboard for the intended experience. Our current focus is on developing the sequel, and we do not expect to properly address this particular issue for quite some time.
