but for you to get an taste of what it is like, and how is the story, then buy the 1rst one. If you want to just be thrown into action then buy the 2nd one.
In HM2 enemys will shoot off screen (thats cheap and frustrating) and levels are just random mess mostly (for example one level is dark, and in game where you will die from one shoot it not fun at all), to understand messy story you need read 3 screens of wikipedia, because dev think he is clever like Tarantino, so he split story in to parts and you will play with diffrent heroes and in diffrent timelines whole game. Basically you will not understand nothing at all without some help.
HM2 have more levels, but less weapons, almost no masks (in HM1 you can choose your game style with masks). Thats it, HM1 is better game, less frustrating, better designed. IMO dev didnt understand at all why first game was soo good, so he focused on bad things in secound one.
In other words, you hate hm2 cuz its harder. Good work mate and no im not deaf and hm2 acctually has more than 3 songs. 2 is a big improvment after 1. And the story maked more sense in 2, not in 1.
