EDIT:
Being a founder doesn't make it any better; I purchased this & all DLC before it went F2P & still have the same problems...
EDIT: After fighting this for probably upwards of an hour & a half, I think I may have found a resolution to the problem. Try recycling the power on your modem (meaning unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, then wait for it to complete booting back up before trying to fire up the game again). I just did that & while I did receive an error when I first started up the game & logging in was slow, I was able to connect without any further problems. Try it, let us know if this works for you.
2. In here, delete the following two files: Cache.m2k & Client.m2k.
