Evolve Stage 2

Evolve Stage 2

Offline and local play
I know there is a offline mode for single player, but does anyone know if there is LAN support? Or if you can play in private groups and the compter? For example I wonder if I could play with my two friends and then have the rest of the group filled out with AI's.

If so Evolve is a definite buy for my group and I!

you cant play 3 people on 1 computer, and there is no lan, the pc wouldnt be able to handle it, but if they all buy a copy then you can play private games without exp with bots.

Yes to private games with friends vs AI, or offline play vs AI. Unsure about LAN

As far as i know private should actually give xp?
At least ability/class progression.

it does, sadly, it will probably get abused, but eh.

Awesome thanks for the response. I don't mind if I get no exp with private games, I'll still play public games, but I'd like to play private games with my friends from time to time.

I think someone from TRS addressed this in a post with something like "We are trying to find a workaround"

Sorry, there is currently no LAN support but yes, you can play with friends versus and with AI, just set up a custom game and you're good to go.

There's literally no reason to deter private matches from giving exp. Whether you play against AI or your friends you should be rewarded. If someone "boosts" for all unlocks it's irrelevant as they will be matched to players of their own attained level.

LAN support in games these days is not expected as it prolongs the life of the game for consumers and the people selling the game see no financial gain from it. When the game is dead they will have something new lined up for you to play and think if they give you LAN support for an old game you won't buy the new one. Funny thing is everyone wants the latest things and so that argument if made is invalid.
