The game doesn't start.

When i launch it it shows a white screen and if i press anything then the windows message "TormentTidesofNumenera is not responding".
Anyone knows what should i do?
My specs:
I5-6500
GTX 1060 6GB
8GB DDR4 RAM

Same for me, it just looks like it's loading & loading, and if I hit any key windows just states that "TidesofNumenera.exe is not responding"..

Resolved for me; disabled antivirus & firewall during startup.. Even though I've added the game to the whitelist, apparently that wasn't enough.

I just tried that but it still shows the white screen... I suppose it will be fixed on the 28th when they release the full version...

thats only true if this is indeed an issue on their end (and even then it may be some edge case they did not realise.

I would suggest you go to their forums and file a bug report otherwise there may be a bad awakening on the 28th

im personnally stuck because after verifying cach i needed to download back a content, but it looks like a locked content, then im screwed up and cant launch the game again since the download content is locked.

this actually sounds like an issue on your end. You probably have a lot of packet loss for some reason which leads to steam failing the crc-check. I suggest you check the firewall and router settings. If you use WLAN or have occasional connectivity issues/lagspikes i would suggest trying a cable and see if that does something for you.

it may also be a good idea to check if other games are affected as well. First try to download any other game ( a small one preferably) if there is no issue check the validation.

There may be some issue with your administrative settings regarding the deletion/rewriting of files.

otherwise i would point you to the inxile forums but it definitely sounds more steam related.
