Is there a name for this kind of game? I know it's a "puzzle", but it's too generic. Is there a name for a filling-like puzzle like this? I would like to find other similar games, preferably with Linux support.

It's not on Steam, but if you liked KAMI, you will definitely enjoy "Cobe The Gallery" by Grzegorz Reglinski, it's a free game on the Google Play Store. It's also a "filling-up" kind of game but with slightly different rules (you can only swipe straight lines of the same colour), and it gets quite challenging. I recommend it!
