Be as cynical as you'd like, I understand that anticheat is an arms race but I also understand how most menus work better than 99% of players. Goodbye scripts, goodbye all other serverside features. Aim bot might still be a thing, flying maybe. Nothing like what it was before and that's a good thing.

Battleeye is good anticheat not is bad. Of course not all anti cheat guarantee 100% but better than nothing before gta 6.

wasn't arma3 and dayz also protected by battleeye?
i can still remember the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coming to a server running tornado script which literally destroyed all vehicles on the server, so you had to restart the whole server.

i exclusively play single player and fail to see the need for this...
