Deluxo moves very slow. I recommend buying a Buzzard if you don't have one yet!
Between the two I'd take the Avenger, just because it's required as a gate to other content.
The Avenger is awesome for quickly transporting a vehicle, any vehicle, from one side of the map to the other. And yes, I know you can also use any kind of aircraft for that (like the CEO Buzzard, spawns close to you as well) and then recall your personal vehicle later but... IMO it's fun.
Then, as someone already mentioned above: for an extra 1.4 million you can get the command terminal which gives you access to the new missions. If you're still somewhat new then I think those can be fun to have. And while you may not often play with others; you can easily switch the Avenger to autopilot (= it'll hoover in the air) and then hop into the inner area to take control of some of the guns yourself. Fun fact: you can switch between all turrets from one control post, so you'll always have full control. ... assuming you'll buy all turrets; it's all extra costs.
Bonus: since you have the MOC you could consider removing its customization bay and then replace it with a car storage. The advantage of that is easier access to any personal vehicle. For example... maybe a bit ironic but when I need my Deluxo I use the context menu: MOC => Personal vehicle to call it in.
Keep in mind: all extras will also cost you extra money.
Speaking of the Deluxo.... it's a fun vehicle but hardly as versatile as, say, the Oppressor Mk2. It flies rather slow, is most certainly weaker than an Avenger but if you mostly play solo I can easily see how this might be more fun (and maybe cheaper too!) to start.
I think it also depends on what you enjoy doing... If you like playing plenty of missions then I can definitely recommend the Deluxo because... it's weaponized and it can fly which gives you a bit of an advantage. And it will probably be cheaper.
But the Avenger gives you access to quick vehicle transport, the new missions (provided you can squeeze out an extra 1.4 million) but.. those new missions won't be easily making you much money back. Fun to do (IMO) but they also quickly become tedious.
Hope this can give you some ideas... in the end I agree with Solo up there: you'll want both!
