335.1 Patch for GTA 5 Totally Wrecked my FPS

Before the patch, I would run at a smooth 60 fps with VSync on. After the patch, my FPS is around 5! Obviously, the game is unplayable for me at this point. I'm looking for suggestions. I've tried different resolutions and graphics settings and the highest I go is around 12 fps. Any ideas whats causing this?

EDIT: Already tried reinstalling my video card drivers 350.12

Specs:

Intel i7 4700mQ
16 GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GT 755M SLI

Sorry, I should have specified that this is the latest patch for GTA 5, not my video cards

My y510p with SLI GT 750m performance haven't changed with patch. Getting close 60fps most of the time using nvidia optimized settings.

Thats interesting... I also have a y510p. I am running GTA from an external HDD because I swapped out the internal with an SSD. I don't think thats the problem though because I didn't have any problems before the game patch.

Should I just reinstall GTA? Or is that a waste of time..

I have the same problem! Before putching i had 60 FPS, after 30 FPS! Rockstar what's wrong with you?!

Didnt the latest patch increase traffic density or such, i read somewhere. Could be part of the fps drop issue for ppl

In the patch notes you can't find anything about performance stuff or graphic improvements..

But I also get less fps since the patch.

Even if the traffic density increased, I don't think a 60 to 5 FPS decrease is reasonable at all.. :/

Yesterday with the new patch i was getting 60-75fps where before that no matter what setting i changed i would not go over 30-35fps. Today i started up the game with same setting of yesterday where i was getting 60-75fps but to my horror i am back to 30-35fsp!!! I cannot understand wtf is going on????
