Would be fun to not have to open the entire GTA to play the app. And it make extra promo for the game on Steam.
Casting aspersions but - anyway, my version to my surprise didn't include steam (my surpise has changed because some one rectified my thinking) or require a Steam interaction at all. I have had no issues with actually playing it at all, which leads me to believe there is an issue with the Steam version and not hte actual game itself.
As an aside, there have been well documented issues with the new Mortal Kombat game due to the way it is supposed to do a console like "phased installation so you can play while it installs". Turns out that that has been plagued by issues with installation from the steam servers.
At this point I realise this post if nothing more than anecdotal, hearsay (MK), and supposition but I thought it was worth mentioning.
the iFruit app missing the PC version isn't an issue. It's just a missing platform on their iFruit app, and the platform you use to buy your game isn't related to that at all.
