Error : Unknown game version plz help.
Hi when i open Gta v Both in online and story mode i get this error : FATAL Unknown game version, check http://dev-c.com for updates

Supported versions:
1.0335.2, 1.0.350.1/2

I have been on the http://dev-c.com but i dont really know what to do, i didnt get any answers from the site. Hope you can help.

Hey guys the solution is very simple, it is because the game changed the version and AB software didn't made a new compatible actualization for the new version of gta, so you have to wait for the new version of the ScriptHook, look here the lastest version http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/ and if it is the new version, download it and play, but you can't play with the old version, i hope it was usefull ;D

so I think this error shows because script hook isn't updated for the new gta5 version after the recent patch basically rockstar ♥♥♥♥ blocking us at least that's what I found the latest scripthook version is only compatible with GTA 1.0.335.2 but GTA is in the 1.42 patch so just wait

^ Sorry, gtav updated today - and is now version 604.1 - SHV is only good for 604.0.
Wait for SHV to be updated, or rollback/downgrade to the last version.

I guess wait till they patch SHV and i can play GTA V again. how do i avoid GTA from patching so i can play it with mods.

It's because scripthook wasn't updated for latest GTA V version you just have to download scripthook version that supports current GTA V version

I can't deleted the scripthookv file - it says GTA V is open. But it's not... Anyone we same experience and preferable a solution?

^Boot into windows safemode and try again if you can't close all gtav related via taskmanager.

Thank you! I finally got to delete the script-file and copy-pasted the new one over. Everything works - seemingly! :) Thank you everyone who has contributed to this thread!
