1. It can be spawned in right next to you
2. It goes pretty quick
3. It has missiles
4. It has countermeasures
5. Is stored in Kosatka
You can also land it inside the Kosatka which is another major timesaver when you're doing setup missions.
The only (minor) is that you need to pick between missiles or cannons (and the cannons aren't that good), you can't switch between like with the Buzzard. But it's a non-issue.
Yes. Compared to the Aklua at the very least.
I've been using the Akula as a transport helo for a few days now and i have to say that if you're just trying to get somewhere, the sparrow is faster. I think i heard someone say that it's is THE fastest in the game though i have no idea how to validate that outside of racing the two which i haven't done
This doesn't require to be an active office CEO or MC president.
And right next to you means exactly that:
Right next to almost anywhere on the map, not the closest road nearby, which makes it inherently better than the CEO and MC vehicles.
The big disadvantage of the Sparrow is that it's made of balsa wood, paper and sticky tape.
Not only is it blown up by a single rocket, you'll also get destroyed by bullets really fast.
But on top of that, a single touch of your rotor blades or a hard landing and it will start smoking.
