GTA V new anticheat update is just perfect.

Since the release of the new anticheat, I don't see any single cheaters on any public lobbies that I played, it is a very nice thing that R* finally solved the cheating problem within the game, I really appreciate the hardwork that they put in just to make the game playable again, in order for us legit players to enjoy the game in an everlasting way around.

Whilst I think that Battleye has made improvements to public lobbies, I am still running into cheaters, just not as constant as before. It's a step in the right direction, but why after 8+ years?

I'm going to miss the good hackers that dropped free items for everyone. Does this mean they'll find another workaround if the ban on cheats is severe?

i agree .. its the best thing =D

cheaters still pop up here and there but its been a huge drop, pre anti cheat you would get abused by moders one way or another 80% of playtime on public sessions, now its down to 10% - 15% of playtime needing to deal with some moder nonsense.

Agreed, while this update would have been nice half a decade ago. It's still very lovely to see they CAN actually implement some proper anti-cheat. Slight hope for a less modder-filled GTO6

theres not as many modders but yesterday people were spawning military enemies and giving poeple 5 stars. and like half an hour ago i had i guy tp into my vehicle while i was flying before causing explosions everywhere and tping away

There is still some modding going on, but nothing like before. I have played for hours in the same session since the introduction of battleye. Just last night I was teleported and later turned into "the beast". Went offline, then online and again played for another few hours with no trouble, game working as it should, not taking ages to enter buildings, not childish stuff going on. Is not perfect, but it is a trillion times better than what we had before.
