And how do you not get noticed? Whenever I plant the bomb she just starts screaming and the guards attack. So amateurish mission design, like you don't even understand what is happening and why (which is most bad missions in GTAO because it's being made by the D team at Rockstar but still).
"Kill the judge by planting a bomb on hole 3"
I just double checked the right hole and rushed to plant it before she would reach it. Triggered it when she got close. Pissy easy.
But the next time the judge on the golf course hit spawned, the requirement was to just use the golf club. So maybe there is an easier way to get the bonus on this one...?
And especially these button prompts, like man, who was the incompetent one who programmed these things? They are so fiddly in every single instance, like you just stand there and it doesn't trigger, then you walk a bit back and approach again and it triggers, it's embarrassignly bad. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ button prompt, Rockstar, surely you can program a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ button prompt so that it works you ♥♥♥♥♥.
Gamer's need to realize this ain't the 90's no more, most Games today are created by People that will NEVER EVER play them. The Producers have always been out of the loop and just money guys (that goes both ways, they put up the money to create this stuff, they get a payday). But now the Developers are not Gamer's either.
When somebody does not consider themselves part of a community, there becomes a very fine line in between serving a community, or trying to exploit it and profit from it.
I don't really need to type anymore do I ??
Now this tells you two things:
- The attacks isn't entirely scripted so they can jank up.
- There is no failsafe programmed into the mission if something janks up. You know, a good developer makes sure to for example despawn those boats after a certain amount of time so the player won't even notice the issue and thinks that everything went smoothly even though the game accidentally spawned in a few dinghies before.
Stuff like this is very common in GTA Online, hell button prompts not working correctly is very common in GTAO. So you know, to some extent I get the simping but there are certain situations where that comes off as ridiculous. GTAO is exactly that.
