Rappel from helicopters

How do you rappael (i dont know how to spell it) from helicopters like the frogger and the police helicopter?

He want to know how to use the Fast rope from the chopper.

I don't know. I know you need to hold the reload key/button but never managed to get it working. At least with the Merryweather chopper call, i guess you probably need a real player to fly the chopper when you want to use fast rope.

Ok after some research you need to be at an appropriate altitude to get the prompt action fast rope showiing on your screen. Don't work with all choppers, work with the merryweather ones.

The best way to do this is to call Merryweather for an helicopter pickup. Once you reach your destination you'll be asked to repel down from it. As far as I know (could be overlooking something) this isn't possible if you're flying the chopper yourself, only as passenger.
