where is the gtav.exe file on my computer?

You obviously didn't check all locations if you can't find it. LOL

The drive letter will be different depending on what drive you have the game on.

Why would you need to know anyway?

Open your Steam library, right click on the game entry, hover over "manage", then use "Create desktop icon". Done.

Even if you don't need that you can then use the shortcut to find the executable.

Rightclick gtav in steam, properties, local files tab, browse local files. It should be 'there' (turn on file extensions if necessary, view hidden/system files, etc). If it isn't there, and you've conveniently left out other details of the story... like why you need it, if you are using mods, what you are trying to do, etc. /shrug

^ If your gta5 - LEGACY runs - gta5.exe is there. If you don't see .exe - show file extensions. Again, rightclick on gta5 - LEGACY, properties, local files, browse local files. If it doesn't run.... verify files. Try again. Search your whole pc in case something is messed up ---- for gta5.exe, not gtav.exe.

Do not confuse gta5 LEGACY with gta5 ENHANCED. At last check - Fivem does NOT work with enhanced - AND there is no gta5.exe for it - it is gta5_enhanced.exe.
Obviously, this will change when they update fivem, whenever... -.-
