I have Accidentally lost my main character (The First Character)
I have Accidentally lost my main character, I though deleting it will reset my criminal empire starter pack. But now i realise it is not possible.

Is there any way I can get my main character back? Please help, I am new to this community.

Your only option is to ask R* support for help.

so you didn't actually accidentally lose your character.. you deleted it trying to cheat your way to a 2nd criminal enterprise starter pack. if it was up to me and you gave me this excuse.. i would delete your other characters.

That's debatable. Deleting existing character and starting a new one trying to RESET the pack, isn't actually a way of cheating in a second pack, it's trying to start anew, correcting a possible mistake, a second chance. I don't see it as trying to get a second pack, all his stuff is gone, except for the rest of the money on his bank account, if there's any left (he didn't mention at what point did he delete his first character). Yes, reseting this way doesn't work, but the TC didn't know, how it works. All he asks is restoration of his deleted character, or alternatively reseting of his R* (SC) account, starting from the scratch, with the CES pack restored to full. How is this cheating a second pack in?

The money is shared across both characters, but all the cars and properties permanetly appear with a price of $0 for both characters.

The case here is probably about the money most. Some properties are free, but you still have to renovate them and that's no longer free, also if the TC bought a wrong property, that wasn't free to begin with and renovated it, then the money would be gone. So basically starting from the scratch, a complete reset with the CE starter pack restored to full, with a fresh new character, who just landed at the airport, could be seen as a second chance, correcting a mistake.

I don't think intentionally deleting it is "accident" lol, just make sure you don't tell support your full story.

The accident here was not knowing, that the bank account is shared across all online characters. If that wasn't the case, deleting a character and starting a new one, would result in a reset, he would start, just like he did the first time. Most games work that way, even Story Mode does, if you start a new game, you go back from the prologue to Franklin, with completely reset bank account, no properties, no custom cars, just his Buffalo S (untunned) ... so yea.

That's called a mistake not accident.
Levianne Dec 5, 2021 @ 4:06am
True. But for someone it could also pass as an accident. How do most accidents happen? From mistakes mostly. Someone doesn't pay attention to his surroundings = mistake. Getting hit by a car from not paying attention = accident. See?
So yes, not knowing how the bank account works = mistake. Deleting his character based on that mistake = accident.

Crashing your car while checking phone is not an accident but ok.

It's not? What is it then? I was taught, that crashing a car for whatever reason is always an accident. Unless we're talking about intended crashing, like crash tests, stunts or something.

"Car accident" is just some "traditional" term. In other languages it doesn't even have "accident" in it. And even in English it often just gets called car crash often instead. You think if you kill someone while browsing internet and it gets proven it will be classed as actual accident in the trial? It's like you'd claim that butterflies are made out of butter.
