Take it easy and don't play for a bit. Maybe for 3 days. He will forget about you.

Happened to me. I use this small script to solo whenever there's a modder on me.

idk if restarting game removes you from his radar, like he said

I just use ProtonVPN for the time being when this happens once in a while

its so funny how the rules they learn in school control their behavior. like some brainwashed.
as if saying "sorry" is a solution for the problem

how does a VPN help at all? they follow you by your socialclub/R* id.

-you gotta either port block with windows firewall for a solo session or use something like "Guardian" or "CodeSwine" tools to create whitelist sessions which block them from following. the other handy thing to have is different accounts entirely to play on.

Even that is not a guaranteed fix since they can mask their own

VPN is not a fix for a stalker whatsoever. Do report the harassment to R* support.

I don't know if my old stalker got bored of me or if support banned him, but he did disappear from my life a while after reporting the situation.

easiest thing to do, is the solo lobby trick as mentioned. Just spend 5-10 minutes constantly switching lobbies, wait about 30+ seconds in each lobby. he will quit following you fast when he gets errors joining your sessions, or he just enters a solo session. Just keep repeating till he doesn't follow you anymore. trust me they stop pretty fast

I just got crashed by one too,

A Modder was telling everyone their IP's in chat,
I respond being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ white knight, then I get crashed.
F* Rockstar

This is what i'd always previously done but then i found out the hard way that it doesn't always work. finally ran into someone that somehow could still catch me despite not even seeming to join my session. came to the forum and saw people talking about the possibility that some of them can now crash you remotely without even joining your session or at minimum they don't need to be fully in it yet to be able to send the malicious crash packets to you in enough time. it was then that i finally started doing port blocking or using Guardian which finally put an end to the relentlessly faithful worshiper i had acquired.
Interesting. never had one follow me that long, just use my trick and never been messed with by a modder while he is not in the server. Yet 20 seconds before he shows in the server list, they can run their code. Why I say count to 30 switch, over and over. Maybe I just have not met someone butthurt enough to follow me for that long

you can also use programs such as guardian and session sweeper to force yourself in a solo public lobby

Good advice! It's not like that has not been mentioned multiple times...
