Heist help.....Cayo hard mode

Just wondering how do you remove hard mode from the cayo perico heist?

Im fairly new to doing it.

Why would you remove it? If you fail stealth just quick restart until you learn how to avoid it. Hard is more like easy and normal extra easy. And you get paid more for "hard".

No I just wanted to know how to remove it. My friends never have theirs on hard mode and always have an extra life.

Also I have re-done the beginning set up several times and every time get trash for pay out. I dont know if that has something do do with hard mode or not. They all seem to get better stuff. I just got 2 paintings and 1 gold and 2 cash for the one I just tried.

Once the player spawns back into free mode they have 48 minutes (real time) from completion of the previous heist to trigger a new heist to activate Hard Mode. Note that exiting the game does not freeze the timer.

I guess you need to wait longer than 48 min.
but seriously you get 10% more at the cost of 1 less life which is pretty good. The more you play the better you will get and hopefully you will die less often too.

I wouldn't worry about it because unless you go in loud then there's no difference between hard or regular mode, the main one is a decrease in pay.

You get hard mode when you restart the heist as soon as Pavel says it's ok, otherwise you need to wait for longer than 1 in-game day.

I'll also add that if you have the heist set up on hard mode now and definitely don't want to go through with it, you can call Pavel to cancel the heist, then return to your sub and set it up again. If it's been more than 48 minutes since you last completed the heist, it'll be back on normal mode.
