Will I get Banned for this? (PS4)

Dear Grand Theft Auto V Steam Community,

I know this is for PC since I'm on Steam, but 90% of the time where I ask this question of reddit, they automatically get deleted by moderators.

I have been wondering about this strategy on how to get a solo public session on GTA V Online, and to put it short, you change your network settings and change your MTU from 1500 to 800.

I am wondering, could Rockstar suspend or ban your account for doing this?

As long as I'm making money Legitamately in the game (Which I am), I don't think Rockstar has the right to ban me, but they simply might not care.

Any strategy to get into a solo session is fine and safe because it simply involves loss/cut of connection that cannot be identified whether as intentional or not. Only abusing money glitches and cheating on pc will get you banned.

This also refers to any console besides PC, right? So as long as I don't commit any cheating or money glitches on PS4, that's no reason to get banned?

You can do this by congesting your connection (e.g. 4K Netflix stream, download).
Or even by briefly unplugging your cable.

imagine being with a friend, in freemode, driving . a 3rd player is near, you see him on map, goin on you. Your friend's net cuts 2 second. The 3rd explode your car. When it reconnects the friend is late, he arrives 2 seconds after you . How the game handles that 2 seconds? you'dead, not the friend. We dont want players look like teleporting. So a protection (de-sync kick) creates a new session and kick you in. You did'nt lost your mission , you stay where you are but all players disappear. Why no respawn? they could make me lose my mission if they lag. it would be frustrating.
So make yourself lag , any way . find the right delay and keep that delay. Not permanently in settings. wifi cut need to be short, it take time to reconnect. Wired connects fast , longer cut. You can suspend the network process , allows to control that delay perfectly.

They reserve every right to ban you at a whim, actually. Should've read the ToS.

I guess I don't really need to worry anymore, I've sold 294k worth of Coke in 3 Buzzards, sold off all my MC Businesses (Bunker, Coke, Counterfeit Cash, & Weed) without being blown up because I was alone in a session for a long time. I managed to get to 6 Mil, and drop my money on a Kosotka, Sparrow, and a stock Willard Faction. Now, I'm left at 2.15 Million. Earlier, I restocked all of my MC Businesses (Supply Bar Full) But Stock level, not so full.

they do ban modders ive gotten confirmations when i boot up the game that a user i reported got banned and (rarely) get ingame money rewards of 200k

Lucky. every modder I've reported caused my game to crash immediately, so i don't even bother anymore.

I would be surprised if you got banned. Been using mod menu for 3+ years getting anything I want, blatantly cheating and getting reported. Have not gotten banned or de leveled or money taken, ever. Rockstar doesnt care.

alt tabbing out of the game at all was made a violation of tos something like a year + ago. It came up as a warning in the updated tos when loging in. Also what you are doing by forcing a solo intentionally is an exploit. Exploits are against the tos. The exploit only works because this allows people with a bad connection to still participate in online play. You trick the game into thinking you have a bad connection when you dont. This is a mentioned exploit and could absolutely get you banned. It was even patched for consoles to not allow it. Dont listen to the low knowledge people who say to do it if you care about your account. Especially dont post you are doing it like reddit or here because that confirms you are in fact exploiting.
