You cant use mod online. The only mod you can use online are like mega hidden super expensive mod menu

You're pretty safe, OP. Though T2 and R* are really trying to crack down on single player mods. It's a wonder they seem to care less about the obvious problems in GTA Online and care more about getting rid of single player-only mods, just to force people to play GTA Online and buy ridiculously-expensive content that's labelled as "free".

Single Player mods are 200% safe, don't worry about it.

Hell, people are running around rampant in GTA: Online with blatant cheat softwares without even getting a slap on the wrist.

No the mods are allowed in Single Player, but if you want to go online I recommend you to uninstall then delete all the gta folder then reinstall the game to clean all the mod in your pc.

Here's the oldest and most recent screenshots of me modding GTA V, and I've not been banned.

lmao u dumb mate? you can delete everything but x64 folder and verify game cache

I know it's sound dumb and I admit it. I need to be clean from all the mod I use in story mode though it's just Menyoo, Scripthook and Nudemod but I still need to make sure before playing online.

In fact even if you forget to disable mods before going online it simply won't let you in (without any consequences). So when someone says that they banned for SP mods by accident - it's officially BS.

problem kicks in, when you deleted the mods partially and some files still remain in your folder, so you get the option to go online again, while your folder is still contaminated

so better uninstall and delete the whole folder to be save

Well, no because it still won't let you on.
It does actually check your folder when you launch for files it doesn't recognise, and if it finds any it'll just tell you there's modded files in your game and kick you back to singleplayer.
In contrast to what a lot of people insist on these forums, there are actually anti-mod and anti-cheat protections in this game.

When I enter gta v, I put the history mode and load it and when it has to enter it closes, does anyone know how to fix it? This happened to me with the last update and I have mods

so i have to delete everything before palying online? is there any other way?
The easiest way to do it (provided you have the Hard Drive space) is to duplicate your GTA V directory and just mod one of them and not the other, renaming the folder to switch between them.

If not, yes.

A lot of mods (openIV & ScriptHook being good examples) tend to keep themselves fairly contained anyway. openIV even has an uninstall option and uses GTA V's DLC system to add the mods in (It doesn't actually modify any of the game files, it overwrites them as they load, that way you can just remove the mods folder and it leaves your install clean).

As for the easiest way to clean it, the bulk of GTA V's asset folders are the .rpf's at the bottom of the games directory. So long as you don't delete those, verifying shouldn't be too painful.
