Scramjet VS Vigilante VS Ruiner 2000
What to buy?

I can't decide between the Scramjet, the Vigilante and the Ruiner 2000.
What would you recommend?

Both cars have that risk; if you fire a missile while a car is directly in front of you (trust me: this can easily happen within a second) then b00m. However... out of both cars the Vigilante is much more likely to survive that crash. I once tried to drive the cars against a wall, fire the missile and see what happened... well, the Vigilante survived (more or less).

Still, having said that.. the Scramjet's missiles are very reliable, they shoot up and then seek their target.

Anyway, you mentioned that you wanted a fast transport. Then I'd get the Scramjet when you don't mind some shenanigans along the way (like I said: the jump & boost are useful, but they can also get you seriously off course). The advantage is obviously that it can allow you to jump / boost over many obstacles, including whole blocks.

The Vigilante won't be able to jump but it drives like a tank, very reliable and the boost is also quickly recharging which allows you to maintain a high speed quite easily. In that sense it'll be more reliable than the Scramjet.

Of course in the end I'd get both (I did) but... I got the Vigilante first because I didn't think that the Scramjet would be any fun. I was wrong ;)

Maybe this can help give you some ideas:

Hope you can make up your mind. Like I said: both cars are really quite good.

I'd suggest not to get the Ruiner because it's severely overhyped, it's plain out underwhelming. It has such a little amount of missiles that it's useless as an armed vehicle, also because it's machine-gun isn't much better.

Vigilante is fun to travel from one place to another really quick. It also has good defenses. Scramjet is also quite good with its defenses, but the jumping isn't too reliable, you'll crash a lot.

I do trust you already got an MOC or Avenger? Otherwise I wouldn't bother with either because you wouldn't be able to customize them.

Ruiner is weak and is ussualy only bought for the fully loaded mission (it spawns an overpowered ruiner 2000 that can wipe seassions from all mk2 users)
So its scramjet vs vigilante.
Scramjet has less bullet protection and has a weaker boost (I think) but can jump.
Vigilante was my choice at it has more bullet prot , can ram cars out of the way and has a better boost (so it should be faster overall) and the rockets are amazing(even tho you have just 20)

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I already own the Avenger with the Workshop. Terrorbyte too.
I also own the MK II, Deluxo, Insurgent, Kuruma and Khanjali Tank.
But I really wan't a fast, cool, weaponized car.
I also own the weaponized Tampa, but I want something with rockets.

The thing that's making me doubt is that the Wiki states that the rockets fired by the Vigilante fly very low, so on a bumpy road it's easy to blow yourself up by accident.

That is correct.
But my friend with a scramjet had the same problem ussualy.
So it's mostly up to you.

vigilante is the only one from these 3, which can be used in old heist mission

scramjet is just a fun vehicle, needs training to really use it in pvp situation
pretty useless imo

ruiner 2000 unlocks an additional vip mission fully loaded,
this mission gives you access to an altered version of the vehicle, which can eat 10 rockets until it explode and has unlimited rockets for the duration of the mission,
but the vehicle is pretty slow compared to scamjet or vigilante and just has a jump option

it is also more or less useless, just a luxury toy like the scramjet, but at least one more option for diversity during grinding, through the new mission.

vigilante was pretty useful in old and doomsday heists, especially if people have the facility in paleto bay.

The fully loaded ruiner cant be locked onto by homing missles and event then it can take 26 of them.
Its a good way to make MK2 users call you a Cheater.
And why cant you actually use the scramjet in old heists? Cause it can jump?
Must be rockstar logic.

When comparing to all three the Vigilante is the clear winner. Considering the facts that all vehicles get blown up in one hit and the Ruiner only has 8 missiles, the Vigilante has 30 and retains the same level of missile accuracy as the Ruiner

The Vigilante can also be used for preps in older heists so it is obviously the best choice among the three.

Thanks a lot for all the replies!
I'm gonna go with the Vigilante for now.

Thanks!
