Is the thermal scope worth it?

On the mk 2 sniper, is the thermal scope worth it? you can just get thermal helmet for a lot cheaper and less time. maybe the range is not as far

idk about the range but the helmet works with the Sniper MK2. But you have to put down the Goggles first and than activate them wich is super annoying and really not fast. Might be faster to just right click your Mouse. ;-)

there is this one mission in the act 2 of doomsday heist setup where you are forced to wear a night vision helmet instead of the thermal one in the dark... the thermal scope on the Heavy Sniper makes the mission easier.

worth it just for that mission...cus that is one of the hardest heist setup in this game.
you can't see anything with just the nightvision alone.

Range is the same, but the only drawback is that you're stuck with the default scope reticule (the less accurate one). So far it's still worth if you have to deal with PVP situations quite often.

It's basically a wallhack and you can turn it on and off.

oh, and basically required for avenger setup. Cause nvg is trashcan bad in that mission.
