Why can't we use RC cars in freemode missions?
Like CEO cargo missions for example. Why? It has an EMP feature that I thought would be super useful, but it turns out I can't even use it in missions so what the heck is it for?

Oversight on the part of R* I think, they probably didn't want to make things too OP, I dunno.

I have the same complaint about the Terrorbyte; I'd love to take that into a contact mission, hop into the nerve center and then work out the mission using the drone or missile launcher. But nope!

It's one of the reasons why I still say that R* are horrible at setting up a good game design. It's fun, sure, but a horrible game design if you think about it. Every AI enemy you encounter will attack you, you kill it and the next wave will appear. Up to 3 to 5 waves and then you're done. It can be entertaining (and challenging) for sure, but it's hardware hardly good gameplay.

Edit: I was also going to get the fancy new oppressor. You need both a nightclub and terrorbyte for it (so even the trade price is ridiculous) but now that I know the terrorbyte can't be taken into missions, that purchase seems useless too. Glad I didn't go through with it yet.

What are we suppose to do with all of this shiz if not use it for missions?

The Terrorbyte is mainly for freemode jobs anyway. You can source anything from it, which saves you alot of time because you dont have to go to the specific business just so you can source something.

I think the main reason why you cant use those fancy new things in contact missions is, because R* didnt bother adding those freemode features into them. I mean, you can't even biker melee in these jobs. Can't see any other reason why it would be mising. :I

But to make it short; Use it only in freemode to grief or to counter-grief.

Rockstar actually being fair and letting us use ingame tools to make the game a little bit funnier and enjoyable? Not in this reality, their only priority is to sell more shark cards.
A lot of things don't make sense in this game. Like you can't use the Scramjet in heists but you can use the Vigiliante, or you can't put cars in the back of the Bambushka anymore. Shame on you, Rockstar.

If they didn't want the game to be "OP'd" then they would not have put a flying bike with the second most accurate missiles in the game.

I was pissed to find out I could not share my ballistic or use my RC for anything but boring griefing. If it don't make them money...

If it makes you feel better, the RC car is the go to anti sniper griefing tool. If I get sniped, someone gets boomed. I practically rely on it now. Stupid people stare where you were while you drive around them to say peek'a'boom. Two people attempted to grief me simultaneously but the RC car was the answer. One dude surrounded himself in proxies. Didn't end well for him.

Mini update I guess. Turns out you can activate your RC car before a mission actually starts and you can still use it. You can also be invited into buildings like cargo warehouses as an RC car, so you don't have to worry about where you left your character. Some handy loopholes, but still not a ton of wiggle room for creative use of the RC car :/

You're doing God's work.
