character switch crash on three's company
i'm not sure if its a problem with a mod or something, but in the mission 'three's company' when you are franklin sniping and cant see the last enemy, you have to switch back to michael after he gets the target out of the iaa building to kill the last enemy. the problem is when swapping back to michael my game always crashes. i have even even tried it in safe mode. if anyone knows a fix for this or a mod that may be affecting this mission please let me know.

Keep in mind that when the game urges you to switch then this is not a necessity but merely a strong suggestion. I don't know the name of the level but when Trevor hooks up with Franklin and Lamar to do that coke deal (and get all the Vagos after them) then the level will also urge you to switch. Something I plain out ignored, and still made it.

SO instead of switching to Micheal, maybe switching to Trevor can help?

It doesn't matter who kills the enemy, as long as he's killed.

The problem is that the only character you can switch to is michael which makes the game impossible to continue with if its only going to crash

It is not recommended to install mods before finishing the vanilla content, especially story mode missions. Hard to tell what mod causes this if you don't list what you have installed, but it's highly probable a mod is the cause of your problem. In case you have installed several mods made by different authors the exact cause is even more difficult to find. In any case, a clean install with a fresh savefile is your best option here.

Thanks, i might just have to make a copy of my modded game and reinstall the vanilla one

Make a copy and then clean 1 - no need to reinstall.
