Does anyone know the memory limits of GTA V?
Hey guys, so I wondering if anyone already tinkered or fooled with the files enough, does anyone actually know the limits to the game? I wanted to install add-on cars and peds, scripts, and regular mods in the "mods" folder. I installed the following mods to help "solve" the issue, including the Game Error that people encountered even when installed mods correctly.

With this fix, I was able to install the car mods I wanted successfully. The problem is if I wanted to install more car mods or regular mods with OpenIV, does anyone know the actual limit of what I can do in the game before it crashes or becomes unstable? (I'm using the gameconfig 2x traffic and 2x peds within the modded gameconfig)

And other thing is the traffic itself.
I installed the following mods to inject the dlc cars into the game, and I edited the txt file to inject add on cars I installed. However, only one of the add-on cars were actually in the traffic, which I found strange. But lets say I wanted to inject aircraft into the dlc traffic script, how would that work? The author doesn't say what would happen to aircraft with his script!

I recall that the file "popcycle" (I think that's what it was called) was able to directly inject add-on cars directly into the code of the game, like a lambo would show up in "veh_rich" or something like that. I tried to edit this file but its showing non-sense in both notepad and notepad++. Any help on what to do there?

Use 1x Traffix and 1x Peds and you are able to install "unlimited" amounts of cars.
Altough you can not make a Add-on car a replace or the other way around.
And as you did mention, you have gameconfig and the heapadjuster (which for me works great) so you should be able to install a large amount of vehicles.

Yeah I figured that using any higher gameconfig causes the peds and cars to spawn unnaturally, and eventually an hour after gameplay the textures start disappearing, so I sticked with the 1x ganeconfig.

For add on cars, I used the script mod to place add on cars in traffic so I wouldn’t replace popcycle. However, even though the game successfully starts, I don’t see the add on cars at all, since there are so many cars injected (naturally). Maybe in the ini it’s a rare occurrence to see dlc cars (obviously) so it should apply to add on cars. Maybe until I use blips I’ll finally see an add on car on the street spawned in traffic.


Another question, how many add-on peds can the game handle?

Well, the peds should be no different from cars (I have about a 100 different add-on peds and it runs smooth, only sometimes causes issues when playing LSPDFR)

Noted. I'll tone down on the peds when I'm using an intense mod that like, makes sense why there would be issues.
