But make friends play with them, run heists, CEO missions etc and get your cut from each run, you can make some serious money doing those. I just came back to game to play with some friends who have businesses setup and have made some serious money helping them with their deliveries etc
Arena wars is about the worst way to make money, but I do recall 2x drops right now, I suppose that helps.
Alas: important detail: are you going solo or with friends?
Making money is all about investing money in stuff to make more money, and having several things work together. For example: if you own an MC clubhouse you can buy MC businesses. Those can generate product to sell while you're busy doing other stuff. For example missions to earn money.
If you have nothing then the first goal should be reaching 50k. Then you can become a VIP and do VIP missions. See the SecuroServ menu option (context menu). VIP missions such as sightseer are good ways to make some small cash between other missions.
I personally would recommend to get into the MC businesses first. It's relatively easy, can make you a nice buck (don't buy supplies but steal them) and that can help you gain money for the next step.
Which IMO should be grinding to get a Buzzard. That is a money maker.
Not only will it make missions easier (the head hunter VIP mission will become much easier) it also makes crate missions a whole lot more accessible. Which IMO should be you next step: get a crate warehouse and start filling it up.
Once you did that for a while you should be able to make enough for a vehicle warehouse, and that's where the big money is. But.. it takes patience. Source cars, keep low & mid ranges and sell top ranges. Eventually you'll only get top range cars and those can be sold for 100k (99k with NPC damage, 95k if you're really bad at driving ;)).
At this point you should be well on your way to earning some good cash.
This will be all the "good" work you need to start. There's guides and Tubes for each of these if you want to learn how to max your profit.
After you get the ball rolling you should look to purchase:
1) an MC Clubhouse, an MC operation (coke, meth, or cash for top dollar; any of them if you just want to have fun), a Nightclub, and the Terrabyte in that order. Once you got those up and going you can fill out your collection of money makers with a couple more MC operations.
* this path will lead to a lot of grinding and risk, supply runs and deliveries are often exposed for a lengthy time.
or
2) a Facility so you can run high paying Heists. If you're good you should be able to 2 man these Heists for $1m+ to be divided between you'se. If not, same reward split between 3-4 people.
* this path will lead to a lot of time involved. You will need to find people to join, do multiple set-up missions, and there's a lot of dying until you figure it out.
Avoid the Hangar until way later. Avoid the Arena Shop until way later. Avoid being the one to start the Heists available from your apartment until way later, get some experience on someone else's dollar first.
There's several little things that will make you money along the way, from selling cars at the chop shops to activating the VIP/CEO missions while you wait for your cooldowns to joining in on a special event. Figure out what works best for you and run with it.
