Twitch Prime Discounts?

So, I got Twitch Prime for free, linked SC and Twitch, redeemed GTAV bonuses from Prime website, said i will get it in few days.
It's been over few days already and neither i got 250k i was promised (not like it's a big deal tbh), neither i have discounts for Itali GTO or Schlagen GT. What gives?
Do they really expect people to wait over a week after getting Prime just to be able to have those benefits? Kind of see how it might put sour taste in mouth for some people who decide to buy it just for sake of those benefits...

I remember my Sharkcard took like 3h to get through meanwhile my friend got it as soon as he alt-tabbed back to game, but it's just ridiculous...
You think i should bother support for that or wait another day and pray it comes through?

it's funny when i bought the i7 8700 this summer and replaced my 9 year old i3 cpu, the cooler that came with it was the exact same i've been using.

Yeah, because check on TDP difference of those CPUs, ofc intel is not giving you best of the line, but they give "just enough" for majority of casual users. Anything extra is what user gonna deal with :D

I'm month to month with Prime and let it lapse briefly a couple months ago, and the Social Club seemed to detect that immediately. I was able to restore the link a week or two later when Prime was back, but I had to wait until the next weekly update for it to become live in-game again. So if you made the link active after the refresh last Thursday the 5th, you may need to wait until this Thursday to get access to the loot/discounts.

Hopefully you'll still get the Paleto Bay Arcade for free when the new DLC launches, if you want it, but in the case of the basic Casino Penthouse I had to open a support ticket and they manually issued the rebate.

Aww man, considering that I probably will get arcade (not like i want it in paleto tho, i saved up 6m for better one already), but i might miss out on this week's deals because it wont register my Prime until Thursday when offers roll over :/

Just hit up support, they're really helpfull actually from my experience.

My bunker got raided and it was that Valkyrie mission where you have to stealth, but the helicopter just takes off randomly as you get close even when you don't trigger anything, at that point half your product is gone which costs me like 500k due to poor design.

Mentioned it to a friend who said to contact support, so i did and after a few questions he gave me 500k back. Just had to wait an hour or so for an agent to open a chat.

Yeah, I hope I'm wrong and it starts working for you sooner. Like you, I thought the link should start working regardless in just 24-48 hours. I wanted to get the Osiris on discount myself and missed out.

Depends on the occasion, support tend to give away gta $ for stuff like this ^ so they can close tickets faster.

Man, i had my bunker raided only once so far and it was that exact mission... I wasn't even close to it when that thing lifted up and smashed itself into closest electrical pole. ._.
Didn't bother to write support, but that's actually nice to hear that they are actually doing something and doing it fast. Mind giving me directions to where or how find that support chat thingy? Because i thought i will have to email and that usually takes up to 48h to even get response from.

Well, i'm not counting on it, just been checking in-game car page every 30min or so if in case discount popped up. Not like it's Deluxo for free or anything, just a cool car i'd like to get when it's on 80% off.
Even if it's not their initial plan/desire, it sounds a bit like false advertising tho. I'm sure we are not only ones who thought that those things take effect on current week, not next one.

Exactly. They're usually solid when it comes to taking care of lost/missing money, but for technical problems I go to them only as a last resort.

When I actually reached out about the Twitch Prime link not working, they told me to disconnect it in the social club settings and re-establish the link from the Twitch Rewards page. Still had to wait for the next weekly update for it to finally work.

You should see a new slide in the loading screens when the Twitch link is enabled, which also mentions the latest exclusive discounts. I see it every time I load in.

I see loading screen once, at most twice, a day. And even then, i'm usually alt-tabbed to do my moderator work on other places or i'm afk to do some tea and sandwiches for "epic gaming session". Will check it later on, maybe i will notice it, as something new to read while game is loading would be nice :D

My guess is they process all the Twitch Prime stuff in bulk once or twice per week. Twitch and Amazon aren't part of the same conglomerate as Rockstar, so they probably don't have constant, instant access to Amazon's extremely valuable customer databases. Even once your linked accounts are verified, be prepared for delays in getting refunds on your property purchases, when the twitch discounts show up after the weekly update, etc. But I've never had it go more than 5 days.
