Heist stuck Loading 'forever' with black screen and music?

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if it is a Known Issue or something... Not a big deal, but it just happened to me; was in a Heist SETUP and then the next phase started to load, but it ...took forever.
Not bad 'suspense' music though, to tide me over.

I had to eventually ALT+TAB and Kill the GTAV Process manually to end the game - are there going to be any negative repercussions due to that?

some times after heists, you will get a forever black screen or a very long one...wont ever be fixed unfortunatly

That's why you only start heists from invite only sessions, you get instant load times then

I'm not experienced enough to run my own Heists yet, I actually accidentally hit a key when in my Apartment that started a Queue for it I think lol

You can also try and switch crews via social club, it kicks you back out into character select and fixes the infinite loading bug (not always, but most of the time).

if you know the task manager method to grab an empty server , this also works to pull you out of the loading loop

it is 24 and poor people still using hardware from 2013
some people still playing on hdd instead using m2 ssd, some people still using only 8gb ram
the game can't change these hardware differences on pc, so you are waiting for these loading snails in the blackscreens

these are the solution which fix the issue

keep your fps always on the same level in the group and use internet with enough up and download or enjoy playing with random players on mobile contracts with limited volume while waiting in these black screens
you can also see this at the beginning of the heist while some players literally join asap and others need for ever, another reason are the side effect of cheaters with their stupid menus, who don't know how to use them and about their side effects. for example god mode during certain cutscenes breaks the game etc.

he shows the usual cheating suspect from china at 3:20min which sums it up perfectly while all ingame activities are delayed through high ping/ cheat menu like driving together

your vehicle speed also depends on fps, same goes for weapon dmg and enemy ai which are bound to fps, so you might encounter super fast cop cars during car chases, if out of synch player enter the renderbubble of other players.

when you are playing with only 8gb ram and your pc is out of memory, it will switch to slow pagefile memory on a dated hdd, it works better on ssd, which creates a freeze and has a high chance to cause a disconnection, while the game might even crash on the potatoe pc during these moments.

os usage also makes a difference
linux is better for weaker hardware while windows has a trend to cause memory leaks, tiny windows and usage of certain memory managing software might help the low spec guys.
