How to get an empty public session with task manager / resource manager
By B.
To be performed while in a public lobby.

Using the Task Manager

1. Open the task manager and click the performance tab.
2. Down the bottom left, click open resource monitor.
3. In Resource monitor click the network tab.
4. Find GTA5.exe, Right click, select suspend process and wait around 9 seconds before right clicking again and then selecting resume process.

Or using Resource monitor (which can be pinned to the taskbar for easier access in W10)

1. In Resource monitor click the network tab.
2. Find GTA5.exe, Right click, select suspend process and wait around 5 seconds, before right clicking again and then selecting resume process.

EDIT: For anyone saying "I thought this was obvious" most people have never even heard of resource monitor before, so no.
And for anyone saying 'you can just unplug the ethernet cable/router' this is not helpful as the ethernet cable could be plugged into a location that is awkward to get to.

EDIT 2: Invite only sessions are irrelevant to this guide as they do not offer the same functionality as a solo public lobby. You can not do CEO/MC work in an invite only session, you can do MC/CEO work in a solo public session.

FYI: You can also make a .bat file to achieve the above.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but seems like it doesn't work anymore. Either I do it too quick and it doesn't do anything, or I go for too long and I get kicked back to sp

@synchro Gonna just remove your comments as again, this is not the place for complaining about GTA V or somewhere to try and say that an invite-only lobby is a public solo lobby, go to Reddit for that or somesuch place.

Why do you use the detour over Taskmanager?
you can create shortcut on desktop or startmenu
