How do I invite my friends from PS4 to play with me on PC
I read that crossplatform was going to be a thing between ps4 and pc

You don't, crossplay is not a thing: playstation and PC are fully separated.

Sony is very strict like that, they don't even participate in Minecraft "Bedrock edition" (this is a Minecraft version that runs on practically every platform).
