Difference between homing missles and just missiles on the Oppressor MK2?

Hi,
I just bought the terrorbyte and when I upgraded the oppressor mk2's weapon to homing missiles, why does it have two options on the TAB wheel?

Is there a difference? I think both can lock on to players.

Simple as it is, homing missles lock on vehicles, normal missles with no lockon don't. They don't both lock on.

:P As newbie hate those people grieving using oppressor in-game, I'm like victim most of this so trying to avoid em free roaming or on VIP missions. Main reason trying to get hold of a HE mk2 heavy sniper.

Playing in lock on is a good counter to them, but i agree they suck,made pvp in freemode really dull. Pretty much everyone always runs to these things when they are losing.Hopefully this new update nerfs it.(or out right removes it. wouldn't even care if they didn't refund me my money tbh, i just want this thing outa the game)

tbh, the oppressor mk2 homing missile launchers are actually not that accurate. I shoot mk2s down with the homing launcher, 10/10 hit rate.

I mean the mk2 is great for gunrunning steal supplies and stuff like that, if its gone then I guess we'd have to use land vehicles to transport stuff.

You do what with what, at what rate? You must be joking. Even with mk2 explosive sniper it's insanely hard to get a hit for how nimble, fasst and small that thing is.

The homing launcher, try it out yourself, sells at ammunation for 15k.

Of course its hard to hit the mk2 with a sniper, ur aiming by yourself to hit that thing. The homing launcher locks on and all you have to do is the press the left mouse button and the target will explode in no time.

You probably got me wrong because I typed homing grenade launcher when it should be the homing launcher.
