For Steam:

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the "Verify integrity of game files" option.
4. Steam will verify the game's cache file. This process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

For NonSteam - Social club

1. Hit the Home key to bring up the Social Club Overlay.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Under "Profile" select Delete Local Profile.
4. Click Confirm.
5. Sign in again using your email and password for the Social Club account that activated GTAV.

Well I don't want to play this sh*t game on 'Safe mode' because it'll make the game less impressive in terms of graphics. I'll try to re-verify the cache instead though. Thanks.

safe mode,
re-unstall,
update my graphic card and killer network manager...

So the crash only occurs if you play GTA Online? Alright, noted.

I've done this multiple times. It works for a while and then soon goes back into a crashing loop.

yes Winter root, it crash when i join the multiplayer, whatever the session i choose

some people says it maybe a problem with Nat or somethIng with firewall.
but i dont know how to solve that

Game crash in every 5-15 min of plays :(
I play only single mode.
It is very annoying :/

If the NAT is the problem, then I guess it's time to uninstall it or only play Story Mode with tons of mods. Been stuck with Strict NAT Type for almost a year anyway.

However if it's because of the firewall, that means the Port Blocking method exploitation will be impossible, makes other players who genuinely trying to make money in peace in free roam even harder.

I have same problem with my new build pc with ryzen 5 3600, i installed game yesterday and playing story mode and game keeps crashing randomly. What could it be did manage to fix anyone?

Why Rockstar didn't create patch.
I like GTA5 but now i can't play that :-/

If we have to wait for the patch by weekly, we still have to wait for about...

2-3 days to go.

Try playing borderless window, it's the only thing that worked for me.

Didn't help. Did this a few times, once after every crash.
