cant install gta 5 anymore! only download 30mB wtf?

hi guys,
so everything start when my game wont launch anymore, i use the rockstarsocialclub version not the steam.
so ive uninstall gtaV then reinstall it, with the installer download on the rockstar game socialclub webpage, the installation launch, then it directly go to 100% then install directx and say installed succefully.
but the gtaV directory is 30mB size... so the game dont even launch, there is only playgtaV, gtaVlauncher, and langageselect icon... no more.
ive try a clean desinstall manually delete file in appdata, and documents/rockstar... still the same even if i install on other hdd it just install in like 10 seconds and still install only 30mB instead of 79go...
ive see there is problem on server right now but i live in france and the problem seems located in Ontario and Canada.
so im lookin for a fix cause i cant install the game no more

IMO you should try asking on the R* forums or R* support themselves. Most players here will have used the Steam client to install GTA and have no experience with the SC option.

already send a request to the rockstar support, and struggle to find the social club forum, but i do.

already tried the 3 launcher no one work, rockstargamesocialgame launcher say loading then close and nothing

use https://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php and uninstall socialclub , gta 5 . also make sure to delete registry entries .

thats exactly what ive do, clean desisntall of gtaV + socialclub with iobit, delete rockstar folder in appdata and documents, delete all the registry key related with gtaV with registar, still dont work

Be sure you have space on c: / whatever location you are installing to. Last I remember R* version also downloaded to a temp location before moving to final folder.

You can also try running gtavlauncher -verify -nochunkeddownload
or playgtav -verify -nochunkeddownload (preferably, either of those as admin too)

As for a connectivity issue - wouldn't be the first time a region had issues.
You could test a different ipv4/6 dns and see if that helps resolve it.


Beyond that - would have to teamviewer / see it myself - am very busy today - not playing crapaway45minutesinchatmessagesthatwereallthinksinmylinksoreasygoogle.



Update - TV'd - permissions intefering at 1 point with install location.
Whitelist/exclusion on folder(s) - and now worked to 1 point. Still closed.
Additional background programs like afterburner, rtss, rbg, etc closed - currently downloading.

-verify command with gtaVlauncher, in admin, no success, the launcher load then close without any error message. i gonna try your command
