How to deal with players using the stupid flying bike?
So i been playing GTA V online since release, i have no issues with pvp combat untill some prick decide to start spawn camping me with that stupid flying motor bike.

So does any one have any good tips on how to deal with them as i tried everything and i just cant kill them due to the speed they got.

I know i can change session but i am the type who ignores most people, maybe kill once then move on and if i get killed by some one who acts like a prick i just make them suffer by killing them each time they come at me.

So far any type of pvp combat i can deal with but not those flying bikes.

My friend had the same problem, he started flipping out at them and saying "im soething different" .. "im a new breed".. Everyone just kinda laughed at him and then he left the game out of embarassment

Best way to counter MK2 is to just have one yourself, sadly!

Savage rotor blades can give both flying broomsticks and their rider a free haircut, or
Get MK.II for yourself and fight them back, using fire against fire also works.

another mk2, explosive sniper, regular heavy sniper+bst, minigun at close range.
if you really wanna annoy them till the point they leave session, buy maze tower office and sniper camp on it's rooftop. you can abuse it's rooftop entrance to go off the map confusing them (don't enter office itself, stay in entrance prompt, you can even use map in there). have active heist invites to jump to your apartment/facility, use job teleporting to spawn in good spots to off them while they attack other players and are distracted. always take good positions where they can't approach you using cover etc. if they will ditch mk2 and try kill you on foot, start sightseer to disable bst drops for all other players. it's enough to force most tryhards out of session.

but cant a MK2 just out speed anothers MK2 rockets so in the end both are just dodging rockets forever?

Anyway, just to add... i had a funny moment not long ago where a guy on a MK2 was after me, while driving under a bridge he crashed right into the side of it and died.

I laughed so much that i failed the mission. :P

Heavy sniper rifle MKII + explosive ammo + thermal scope (both upgradeble + unlockble via Bunker reseach + MOC/Avenger/Terrorbyte)
Minigun - just in case
Space blaster - if he come very near, to push him off bike.
Shotgun MKII + Explosive ammo (just in case)
CEO Ability - Ghost Organisation
Quick change between MC and CEO - Ceo Abilities, fast call own oppressor, etc.
Call Lester - off radar
Call Lamar - just in case
Call Meriweather (mechaneries) - just in case (kinda useless if he is in air, but still)
Thruster - if you want you can troll Opressors with this, just make sure you fly straight away (not on side) missles wont hit you
Lazer - if you good at this you can dodge his missles
Nightshark - you might use it to troll him, its taking a while till he kill you with rockets
Stromberg - eventually
Passive mode - self explained escape methode
Change session - self explained, before he try to destroy your goods.

Make sure you install anti missle equipment on your flying vechicles. If you delivering ceo crates make sure you use bigger map (standard: Y), if you see opressor coming make sure you hide near some building so he cant autoaim you with rockets. Jump out, get out the vechicle, Opressors autoaim will deactivate emidietly.

Dont even try to kill him with horming launcher, its waste of time. Do not use any kind of chopper, he will kill you.

Hmm explosive sniper sounds like the way to go for me, guess i need to start doing more research then to unlock it.
Try to remember the area where you got killed. As soon as you are respawned, look at your minimap and pre aim in his direction ( not with a rocket launcher!). When you got aim and a good weapon you got a easy kill :)

And nice to see a non-aggressive player like you :)

  • Call your crew.
  • Spot the target for them.
  • Enjoy the kill messages, as they stomp the target into the ground repeatedly.

Mk2 Sniper with explosive round and expanded radar, and don't trust a single one of those bikes that even looks in your direction.

Vehicles:
  • Ruiner 2000: Start up VIP work "Fully Loaded". This gives you a Ruiner with more armor and unlimited missiles.
  • Stromberg: Takes 3 oppressor missiles and has Ruiner missiles. Go underwater if possible since torpedoes can lock onto targets above the surface. Have MOC/Avenger parked nearby to repair.
  • Thruster: You can outrun the missiles.
  • Insurgent Pick-up: Takes 26-27 oppressor missiles, so you can waste their salvo. Maxamize efficiency with a gunner. Combine with MOC/Avenger.
  • Avenger: Fly high, autopilot, and get on a gunner seat. They can't lock on as long as there's no pilot in the cockpit.
  • Lazer Jet: Fly in circles and waste their missiles.
  • RC Bandito: Hiding method. Your character despawns and the RC car doesn't show on the map.
  • Oppressor Mk.II: Fight fire with fire. Chad Opp Mk.IIs use Chaff before getting into lock-on range. You'll be surprised how many salty tryhards still use those useless flares :)

Weapons:
  • Heavy Sniper Mk.II w/ Explosive rounds: If you can flick.
  • Up-N-Atomizer: Head on attacks. Lead shots cause it's a projectile.
  • Minigun: Alternative to sniper if you're better at tracking.

Get someone to guard your back with an Akula, that thing can be magic if used right. It's a bit of a cheap tactic but the again: so are those oppressors. Akula can go off radar and many (if not most) oppressor "pilots" have no clue how to actually play this game. Resulting in... uncloak, lock on, b00m.

Nothing wrong with an Oppressor MK II. Only STUPID people who choose to use it for what amounts to evil intent. If you cannot deal with the outcome of what amounts to superior firepower, get one yourself. I've been hearing this same **** since the Oppressor MK II was introduced and the same whining comes from the same sort of people - unimaginative - often unable to fly - sorts who clearly have a massive chip on their shoulder about it.

I love the Oppressor MK II and have never used mine to attack anyone. It is a remarkable machine for quick smash-and-grabs, out-racing police choppers and doing all those quick movement jobs that used to take forever to drive across country!

Although I fully agree that this is the ultimate grinding tool (especially in combination with a Terrorbyte) I still believe it's also insanely overpowered. I mean, really, you can hardly get killed with it while you can easily kill others.

Had a small incident earlier this evening of which I'm not too proud... Guy was sourcing a car and I was in a good mood. In a good weekend mood, had a few drinks, good times. So I notice him getting killed and I figured 'Lets waste those annoying NPC's', I hate those myself too. I tell him in chat "I'm not gonna kill you no worries" (I know how it sounds...) so to be sure I also kept my distance but still engaged those NPC's (he had put some distance between him and those NPCs in the chopper). I had also set my targeting mode to "attackers" so that there was no way that I'd accidentally target a player.

I got the chopper, got a few NPC cars and then I got reckless and forgot about the bounty I had on me. A guy shoots a missile at me, I respond too late and b00m. Then the guy I was following started laughing in chat and that made me lose my temper.

Although I didn't destroy any cargo (I play by 'don't do unto others what you don't want 'm do to you') I still started a killing spree, and honestly? That was WAY too easy, especially considering my slower reflexes due to the drinks right now.

Sure: oppressor doesn't kill players, players do. But even so it it does makes it extremely easy to do so.

The Ruiner 2000 only gets 8 missiles because otherwise it would be OP (according to R*) even though it's a car which can be destroyed. The Oppressor gets the same kind of missiles, multiplied by 2.5, and that's suddenly not OP?

I beg do differ, even though I love my oppressor.
