Lost my Pfister 811

Police impounded it and destroyed it and now its gone. Its been blown up a million times and it has full insuranced so something glitched out.

Tried to submit a ticket to R* but the damn car isn't in their vehicle list. WTF?

Cars completely disappearing are a very rare glitch.

So you called insurance, paid the price to retrieve the car, and it doesn't appear anymore in map or the garage you parked it in?

It is gone. Last I remember the police impounded and then destroyed it b/c I was doing other things. I did have some server issues loading in at times but just noticed today the car is gone. I used it last game no problem.

I can't submit a ticket b/c when you select car as the missing item the Pfister 811 is NOT in their stupid list of cars. How do you make a list and forget to include cars that are in your game?

I call Mors and all operators are busy meaning nothing is destroyed. All of my cars are at my nightclub and the 811 is nowhere to be found. It isn't in my mechanic's list of cars and it isn't on the map. It is just gone.

No clue what happened. I never replaced any cars in my nightclub basement levels with other cars and the nightclub levels are not full so no clue how the 811 just vanished.

Wait, so you never got the option to pay insurance to get car back.

Mors service is often glitched, I had often instances when I destroyed a car and called Mors straight after, the operator answers me line is busy. I tried to wait, changing session or restarting game, always worked. Try again until it works.

I'm saying I don't know what happened. I played a long time last time to get an Oppressor and today I logon and no 811. Only thing I can think of is accidentally replacing a car with another but I don't think I did that.

I did some sales tonight and I'm halfway towards buying another. I'll prob have another one before R* gets to my ticket.

Happen to me before with the Entity XF im not sure how but it was also impounded and somehow dissepeared and i never found it anywhere. So i just bought another Entity. Still cant find her it was my very first supercar in gta i bought all the way back to ps3 :( so many memory with that car.

An impounded car gets destroyed the moment you use another personal car. In that case you just gotta call Mors Mutual to get it back. If they don't answer you and don't give the option to respawn car immediately it's a glitch (I had it often) but eventually it works. The only way to get permanently rid of a car you bought is selling it at a LS Custom garage.

I never heard of a glitch making cars simply gone, but may be a very rare occurance.

did you check in your MOC if you have the personal vehicle slot installed? this happend to me lol.
once drove my stromberg into the MOC, expecting this slot to just be a spot where i could repair and refill missiles. didnt expect it would act as a garage slot.
then i called my mechanic, and was like WTF? its not anywhere on the list.
looked into my MOC trailer.... stromberg wasnt there...
then i realised you have to access the MOC menu in the interaction menu and then almost right under request MOC it says request personal vehicle.
its kinda sad that the avenger doesnt have a personal vehicle slot aswell.

if that didnt work, its probably glitched and youre never getting it back. you got R*`ed.

Have you checked all your car garages? Sometimes they'll get moved if you buy a new car and store in filled house. I"ve not seen any instance where a car disappears.

IF it was in the impound, it'll stay there until you bring out a new car, then it's destroyed, so have to call morrs. If it's not available at mors, drive/request a new car from mechanic or look on teh map for your personal vehicle.

Rockstar has no record of my purchase of the 811. Wow. Just wow. I drove it for like 6 months. Surely they have records of it being replaced by Mors, etc. Unbelievable.

cars don't really disappear like that. if you carefully checked all your garages via mechanic and it's not it mors, then it's kinda safe to assume you burned it. since you kept it in nc, then maybe at some point you put it into service entrance parking slot and later destroyed it driving in some random vehicle, maybe even npc trash car.. quite a lot players destroyed some vehicles via that garage slot.

Yeh one of my vehicles disappeared due to the service bay slot in the NC

No I checked. All my screenshots are of the mulitcolored glitch I use to get near the side of the island. I underclocked my card by 50 MHz and it fixed it. I have an EVGA FTW but the overclock isn't stable so I had to reduce it just a tad.

I think I may have figured out this is exactly what happened. When I bought my Oppressor I went to my nightclub. It tried to put my Oppressor in the entrance but I had a car there. That was my 811. I think when it asked me I misunderstood that if it put my Oppressor there it would put my 811 into oblivion. That doesn't explain why they have no purchase log of it unless the code also removes the car from your account just in case someone tries to make a false claim.

After I got over the shock of losing it I started to recall some events that might have led to it and this is what I think happened. Lesson learned.

After a few more sales I will be able to buy another one so only lost a bit of time and since I'm not really trying to buy anything else it doesn't matter.

So be careful about that NC entrance slot. Can be dangerous.

Yeah replacing vehicles like that sucks man! Now you know what happened and you can buy another one and not repeatin same mistake.

OP ok, good to know.

The warning screen about replacing vehicles is there - but on fast tap on enter and it is gone, too hard to see, too easy to miss.

And there is another way this can happen as well. If another player is driving your PV at the same time you enter Los Santos Customs and try to put a tracker on a npc car. You get the same warning - hard to see - but if you just press enter and miss it your old PV gets replaced.
