GTA V Online RP Servers

Hi,

I was wondering what is the max poissble players on a gta v modded server? I played the old gta samp server,and it was capable of handling 200-300 players. I was wondering if GTA V could handle similar player count.

I think it would be max since gta5 dont use servers but p2p crap.

In a few years maybe, I remember when samp could handle max 32 then 50 100 etc. For gta v it could take more time, maybe in 2020 we will have 100-200 slots for fivem.

There are lots of people who don't know things and speak out their minds like they know everything.

There are already multiplayer modifications that can provide servers with 1000 player slots, it's just that the one multiplayer modification is not so good. There are better multiplayer modifications which do not have more than 32 player slots right now, but have already said that the modification will be capable of allowing more than 32 player slots. The multiplayer modification I'm talking about now is FiveM.

Only 32 slots? Why not more?

We currently only support 32 slots due to limitations of the original RAGE network framework. We're also working on a completely new synchronization framework called OneSync, which should allow higher slot counts — we are targeting 64 initially, but it should be easy to reach at least 256 — which should be coming H1 2018.
