Shadow Depth Bias?
I've always wondered what shadow depth bias actually does, so if someone could explain to me, I'd appreciate that. Thanks! :D

In short and without going into the technical aspect: sometimes shadows can have a banding effect, light and dark lines in the shadow. The bias is used to adjust them.
Try to keep the bias as low as possible though, as having a too big value can cost you some performance hit and you'll see weird shadow results.
A value around 1/5 should be fine for most people

If the value is too big, you won't see shadows cast on ground from low objects that are close to ground, e.g. a soldier on prone will fail to cast a visible shadow.

If the value is too small, you see artifacts such as banding and flickering as the objects will cast shadows on themselves in certain angles related to the light source.

Can't think of why having it big would have a performance impact, never noticed one myself.

Comjak said a while back that he had as far as I can remember.

Well after further testing it would seem there is no discernable difference. I said that back when saint anne was at 30 fps for me haha. I thought turning down shadow depth bias improved it to about 40

Being the graphics wiz I am lol, I just figured the higher it is, the better XD
