tanks respawn after 100 seconds
and a supply truck explosing while i was fixing it and no ennemies or allies were around. i dont understand a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing in this game, it needs a tutorial
it's very rare to have more than 1 enemy tank on a map.
you probably mean the cargo truck. It gets disabled when his HP go under 50% (to make it easier to intercept them, as people were complaining to not being able to steal those from the escaping AI) and when disabled it explodes after a few minutes if not repaired back to >50% to freshly respawn.
The radar tower/radio jammer respawns after 3 minutes. When you play the campaign there are journal notifications to help you to get familiar with the game. Not everything is explained though and need to be discovered by yourself.
C4 was not even in the same realm of possibility.
100 seconds seems really low, especially when you add an APC into the mix and your team has no armor.
play in solo and just tanks and apc become boring to deal with
The easiest course of action would be to simply increase the respawn time for the tank. To do this, head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RunningWithRifles\media\packages\vanilla\vehicles and open tank.vehicle, tank_1.vehicle and tank_2.vehicle to edit the Green, Grey and Brown tank, respectively. Here, modify respawn_time="100" to something you find appropriate (time is in seconds). You can also do this to other vehicles such as the APC if you prefer.
Alternatively, you could remove tanks (or any other vehicle) from the game outright. The vehicle won't spawn on any map, but it won't show up if you try to airdrop it for yourself either. Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RunningWithRifles\media\packages\vanilla\vehicles and open invasion_all_vehicles.xml (if you want the changes to take effect in the campaign) or all_vehicles.xml (to make changes to quick match). Here, strike out any vehicle you want to get rid of. For example, disabling the green tank would look like this
The third option is to remove the vehicle spawn from the map itself. This is a bit cumbersome, though, as you'd need to remove every spawn point on every map. Find your way to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RunningWithRifles\media\packages\vanilla\maps and open objects.svg in each map folder using Inkscape. Desert and winter maps are located in \packages\vanilla.desert\maps and \packages\vanilla.winter\maps, respectively. The vehicle spawns are located in a vehicle layer. You can isolate this layer by hiding the other layers. Right click on one of those spawn points and select Object Properties to see which vehicle is being spawned. Then simply hit the delete button to remove the spawn point.
Keep in mind you won't be able to join the official server after modifying any of these files. So take a backup of the files first if that's something you want to do.
