Curiously, some of the games I already own (like the Shadowrun series). And one missing game to recommend there was transistor.
But it seems to me that none of them are exactly like Dex. If we exclude the cyberpunk setting, 2D "metroidvania-like" RPGs seems to be a rarity.
Ghost 1.0 could hit this mark. Plus Ghost is just oozing with satire. It's amazing.

In terms of 2D-cyberpunk-RPG, Dex is simply the best game out there.
